weekend fun: September 30 – October 2

Pumpkin patch season is upon us! We are going to take advantage of a recent Groupon deal and head up to Honeysuckle Hill Farm on Saturday for all kinds of fall fun. We would love to see you there!

Friday September 30

- Heritage Days: all ages can enjoy living history presentations, skilled artisans, live animals, music, and more. Sam Davis Home Smyrna 1399 Sam Davis Road Friday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm $5

- FREE Belmont Community Celebration of Art show and sale: more than 50 local artisans will show and sell their work. Christ the King school 3001 Belmont Blvd Nashville Friday 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Saturday 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Sunday 9:30 am – 3:00 pm

Saturday October 1

- FREE Autumn Star Party: all ages can view planets, stars, and constellations through telescopes at Long Hunter State Park in Hermitage 2910 Hobson Pike 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

- FREE Celebrate Nashville: all ages can explore traditions of more than 40 cultures through live music and dancing on five stages, crafts, food, and an interactive children’s area featuring storytelling and puppet shows and more. Centennial Park 2500 West End Nashville 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

- Country Ham Festival: enjoy live music, food, arts and crafts, children’s area with inflatables and more at the Tennessee Children’s Home 804 Branham Hughes Blvd Spring Hill Saturday 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, Sunday 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm $10 per carload, $5 if parking off site.

- Music City Hot Wing Festival: This is the first of hopefully many future hot wing festivals. There is a competition for those that like to cook hot wings and also one for those that like to eat them. information HERE

Sunday October 2

- Battle of the Food Trucks: I think this would be so much fun- we love us some food trucks! Join other food truck lovers at the Greer Stadium parking lot to do some good eating and to vote for your favorite. Some of the trucks expected to be there are: Deg Thai, The Cupcake Collection, Hoss’ loaded burgers, Moovers and Shakers, Riff’s, Tin Can Treats, Mean Green Ice Cream Machine, and more! ** no tickets will be sold on the day of the event so get yours early!
